Gogo execs to score big bonus payouts for CA sale
A handful of Gogo executives are in line for some nice bonus payouts as the company moves towards selling off its Commercial Aviation division. They'll even get paid (albeit in stock rather than cash) if a deal doesn't go through.
The rest of the employees also have a new target for getting their 2020 bonus paid, and it very much is not an individual effort.
Global Eagle’s connectivity business shines as content falters
Global Eagle quietly released its Q2 2020 earnings last Friday and the numbers are bad. But, in at least one context, not nearly as bad as they could have been. Somehow the company's global connectivity business segment managed to eke out a positive margin for the quarter.

Airlines now have another option for delivering inflight entertainment to passengers. AERQ, a joint venture of LG and Lufthansa Technik, is bringing its new cabin digitalization platform to market and already has at least one airline signed up as a customer.
