Lufthansa's Allegris cabin deployment, already years late owing to the 777X delays, will also be something of a mess on the 747-8i. The seats are not built to fit on the upper deck, and weight challenges will limit cargo capacity.
Thompson Aero inaugurates Dynamic Test Facility
Thompson Aero is the latest seat maker to launch its own crash test operations. The facility, announced just last December, officially opened earlier this month at the company's Northern Ireland headquarters in Bainbridge.
